Preventing Misconduct, Corruption and Fraud

The City of Stirling is serious about preventing misconduct, corruption and fraud. The City of Stirling’s Code of Conduct prohibits City of Stirling officers from engaging in misconduct, corruption or fraudulent activities or behaviour.

The City has also developed a Statement of Business Ethics that outlines the City’s ethical standards and our expectation that providers of goods and services will comply with these standards in their dealings with the City. The Statement also outlines what providers of goods and services can expect of the City.

Any alleged improper or corrupt activity involving City of Stirling officers can be reported to the City’s dedicated Misconduct, Corruption and Fraud Hotline:

(08) 9345 8990

All reports will be fully investigated by the City and treated with the utmost confidentiality.

The Corruption and Crime Commission Act 2003 and other ‘whistleblower’ protection laws protect persons disclosing misconduct or corruption-related matters from reprisal or detrimental action.
