About Scarborough Amphitheatre
The Scarborough Amphitheatre is located on the foreshore of Scarborough Beach and was constructed in 2006 as part of the redevelopment of the Scarborough Beach precinct.

The venue is an open-air amphitheatre with a sweeping vista of the Indian Ocean that is capable of hosting sporting tournaments, concerts, cultural and corporate events to provide a unique experience to all beach goers.

The venue has been host to the Australian and West Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, Tri Nations Beach Cricket, Beach Volleyball events including the WA championships as well as concerts such as Sets on the Beach, Carols By Candlelight and the City's Summerset Festival.

When not in event mode, the venue is a great open public space for visitors to the beach to enjoy.  It offers shaded areas, with grass tiers, easy access to the beach and the adjacent children’s area and bbq facilities make it a great family area for all visitors to
enjoy.
