Amendment 458 aims to allow for the development of mixed-use commercial and residential properties in certain pockets of Scarborough. The buildings will be designed with specific restrictions in place, contributing towards the strong urban-coastal character of the region.

Amendment 458 - Scarborough Redevelopment 

Planning Minister John Day has approved amendment 458 to the City of Stirling Town Planning Scheme No. 2, which introduces planning guidelines for the redevelopment of land in Scarborough.  "Scarborough is a major metropolitan location and tourist destination that will benefit from revitalisation and improvement,” Mr Day said.

Adopt-A-Park

Adopt-A-Park is a community led initiative, with a solution focused approach, managed and co-ordinated by the City of Stirling. The project was developed to encourage local residents to take back ownership of their local park as an Adopt-A-Park volunteer. Support from local communities enables the City of Stirling Rangers, Security and Parks staff to look after this asset more effectively.
