Environment


The City of Stirling manages 68 conservation reserves across the City stretching from Scarborough to Watermans Bay along the coast and inland from Mirrabooka to Mt Lawley, totalling approximately 616 hectares of natural area.

The reserves range in size from 0.2 to more than 100 hectares and contain a variety of vegetation types, wetland environments, flora and fauna.

A team comprising of a Senior Environmental Officer Natural areas, an Environmental Officer Natural Areas, a Conservation Officer Natural Areas, a Natural Areas Supervisor and a team of field officers work together towards the management and conservation of the City's natural areas.
