The Disability Services Advisory Panel provides expert advice and guidance to City Officers and Council in respect to Disability Services matters relating to the City of Stirling. This includes advice on the formulation, implementation and review of the City’s Access and Inclusion Plan and projects associated with that plan.
The membership of the Panel is drawn from organisations operating in the disability services field who have operations within the City of Stirling and from individuals residing within the City, who in the City’s view, are able to contribute expertise and advice in relation to disability services issues.
Members of the Panel do not have a specific term and meet as and when required. When additional members are required, an advertisement will be placed in local community newspapers. Members may also be invited to attend due to their skills, knowledge and experience.
