A number of policies relating to Recreation Services have been developed and are currently available as a downloadable document.

Policy development ensures the most effective and efficient use of the City’s resources in the provision of leisure opportunities.

Current policy positions include:

• Turf Cricket Wicket funding, maintenance and development
• Financial assistance to sporting and community groups and organisations
• Funding for recreational/sporting facility development/extensions/upgrades
• Floodlights (installations and utilisation)
• Leases and management licences
• Sports field users
