Winner of the 2009 Award

Leisurepark Balga has been recognised by the West Australian sport and recreation industry at the Department of Sport and Recreation awards for the 'Best revitilisation of an existing facility'. The City of Stirling in partnership with Lotterywest invested $12 million in the successful revitilisation of existing Balga facilities into Leisurepark Balga.   The result of this project has produced a community focused facility that offers a wide range of programs and services aimed at promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
