Public Open Space Strategy

The Draft Public Open Space Strategy is now out for public comment from 11 August 2008 through to 20 September 2008 and residents are encouraged to 'have their say' by completing a comment card and mailing it into the City, an online version is also available. An information brochure about the Strategy is available in all City of Stirling libraries as well as the main administration centre and selected recreation centres.

Householders urged to take hazardous materials to City of Stirling

Hazardous materials which householders use every day can harm the environment if they are not disposed of properly. That is why the City of Stirling in conjunction with the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) and Mindarie Regional Council (MRC) is arranging a pilot hazardous materials collection day at the Stirling Administration Building’s Car park on Cedric Street.
